Artisanal ceremonial grade matcha sourced from an organic farm in the Uji tea region of Kyoto, Japan. Made from only the youngest tea leaves stoneground to an antioxidant-rich, silky smooth powder. Non-GMO, pesticide-free and JAS, USDA and EU certified organic.

Why It's Good For You

The abundance of antioxidants, L-theanine and chlorophyll in stoneground green tea supports energy, mental clarity, metabolism, detoxification, and overall health, beauty and vitality.

Drinking 1 cup of matcha is the equivalent of drinking up to 10 cups of regular green tea. As matcha is powdered green tea, the entire leaf is consumed along with its full nutrient content. In regular tea, you only get some of the extracted nutrients from steeping before the leaves are tossed out.

Eat & Drink Beautiful: Matcha can be enjoyed by itself as an enriching elixir whisked with hot water (with or without milk). It can also be used in food, drink and smoothie recipes to bring a mild, grounding green tea element and additional health and beauty benefits.

For Glowing Skin: Green tea is a well known anti-aging and anti-inflammatory superfood. It'll help soothe, detoxify and give your skin a youthful glow from within while calming your skin on the outside when used topically. Try it in an at-home DIY skincare mask for a brighter, more even complexion.

Grade & Flavour Profile

Grade: Ceremonial.

Flavour profile: Delicately grassy with a fresh umami note.

What Does Ceremonial Grade Mean?

Ceremonial matcha is the finest grade of matcha available, with more antioxidants, L-theanine and chlorophyll than other grades (premium grade, culinary grade etc.). This is thanks to a refined artisanal process from shade growing, harvesting to milling. This grade is exclusively used in the traditional Japanese tea ceremony for its colour, aroma and flavour.
